our story
In 2019, while living in Jacksonville, Florida, we struggled with finding a large selection of vegan options around the local area. We were avidly meal prepping weekly and began experimenting with some of our old favorite meals to create them into vegan dishes. These meals were shared and enjoyed with family and friends. This sparked the idea of providing meals for others.
In 2020, while on active duty, we relocated to Okinawa, Japan. During our time in Okinawa, we noticed the lack of savory vegan options and began researching how to begin a meal prep business. We wanted to provide not only options for those who followed a vegan diet but also for those who were searching for a healthier alternative. We expanded our personal meal prep menu and shared it with friends, vegan and non-vegan, in the local community. Japan’s culture of utilizing fresh and locally sourced ingredients nurtured our passion for providing healthier nutrient-dense meals. As new veterans returning to Jacksonville, FL, we are beginning our entrepreneurial vegan meal prep journey.
